Raising Eagles - Maintaining Emotional Connection

Allen ISD is hosting an online Raising Eagles session focused on Maintaining Emotional Connection to your Teen. The teenage years can challenge even the strongest parent-child relationships. As teens seek greater independence, parents often wonder how to stay connected while still providing the structure their children need. In this workshop, parents will learn practical strategies for maintaining a strong emotional connection with their teenagers without relinquishing their role as the parent. Drawing from principles of Nonviolent Communication and relationship-based parenting research, we'll explore how to communicate more effectively to navigate conflict, strengthen trust, and foster connection. Participants will leave with tools to help them stay connected through difficult moments while confidently maintaining healthy parental leadership. The virtual session takes place on Nov 11th at noon.
